Bell Ringing Chamber Visit & Taster Session

We love to welcome people to look round our ringing chamber and have a go. We are always excited when Heritage Day comes around. The Church is open for all to explore and learn about it's history and with this we open our tower for visitors to come and explore this wonderful bit of history not seen by many.

Our sessions start in the Church where you will be greeted by one of your volunteer bell ringers who will start the tour with a video all about our wonderful bells. The video is for all to see you don't have to book onto one of our tours to watch this video.

Once the video ends you will be shown up our narrow tower stairs (this is the trickest part) once at the top of the stairs (minding your head) you will enter into our ringing chamber.

We will give you some more history of the bells (apologies if we repeat some of what you have watched our passion for our bells sometimes gets the better of us) and will be shown a short demo of how we ring using our modern day simulator.

We try to keep this short so you have an opportunity to have a go if you so wish.

We are limited on numbers unfortunatley as the ringing chamber isn't a huge area. If all our slots are showing full please do come along still just in case someone is unable to make it. If we can't fit you in we can take your details and arrange a time and date suitable to show you around.

To book your slots please use the booking system on this page. There is no charge for the tours donations are always welcome to help us maintain this little bit of history in such a fantastic building.
